Breadbasket & Tongs by Grant Macdonald (2002) 18ct yellow gold breadbasket and tongs to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of HM The Queen. The cross and fleur-de-lis decoration, taken from the St Edward's Crown, is created by using the latest technology of seven axis laser cutting. The inscription and the Royal coat of arms are engraved by George Lukes. The Royal coat of arms is that used on the order of service for the Coronation in 1953, designed by Renolds Stone. The Golden Jubilee Hallmark applied by laser by the London Assay Office. Diamiter 32cm |
